AKL Technologies, Ltd. was formed in April, 2001 to further develop and commercialize discoveries by Dr. Nicholas Larkins initially pertaining to a product known as 'AKL1.' AKL believes AKL1 can be used in the treatment of asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases.
 
In 2007, AKL Technologies, Ltd, was taken over by and is now a subsidiary of AKL International, Ltd., a company incorporated in the BVI. Based on the success of AKL1, the Company has recently expanded its scope to develop additional drug candidates.
 
Milestones
· Multiple patents filed on multiple discoveries in over 25 countries.
· Granted patents in many countries including US, Australia and EU.
· In-Vitro testing proving synergistic qualities of AKL1.
· Successful completion of a double blinded UK DDX trial of AKL1.
